Hello readers, I thought I’d drop by and say hi, and tell you a little about myself. I’m Saskia Walker, and I was signed for the new Berkley Heat line late in 2005, with my first novel, Double Dare, due out in just a couple of months. I’m thrilled to be part of the Berkley Babes blog team, an exciting and diverse bunch. We have authors from different genres contributing, posting from locations all over the States, as well as different parts of the world. It promises to be a fun and interesting mix of posts to read.
I’m British, and although I’ve lived all over the world, I set my roots down in the place I feel is my home, the North of England, close to the beautiful Yorkshire moors. In my blog posts I hope to give you a peak at my part of the world, as well as some of the European hot spots that appear in my writing. I also want to share the excitement of my first single title publication – some days I still can’t quite believe it is going to happen.

Okay, so I admit it! I’m a "Technology Virgin". Well, sort of . . . I mean, this isn’t my first foray into blogging by any means. But every time I join a new blog, I can’t ever figure out how to sign on, complete posts, download pictures, etc. It’s a good thing I’m a writer-don’t have to be too technical to put words on screen/paper. But I’m here, with the Berkley Babes! And let me tell you, I’m honored to be hanging with this fabulous group of ladies. Between us, we cover the full array of romance, with historical, contemporary, paranormal and ultra steamy. Check us out. Then pour yourself a cup of coffee (or green tea, if you’re health conscious, or a nice glass of merlot), get some chocolate, and one of our books (pamper yourself-you deserve it!). And come away with us; Read about spunky heroines, ultra-sexy heros (some who may be a little-er-long in the tooth, or furry), action/adventure, the poignancy of the past, the allure of other worlds.
