Hi everyone! Wow—life has gotten really crazy lately. Between selling my house and potty training my daughter and some health issues and trying to normalize my sleeping schedule (that’s right…no more staying up until two to write for me…getting up at six isn’t going well thus far. Not enough coffee in the world)…and writing and the release of my Kensington Aphrodisia release, The Cop, I’ve been pulling out my hair just trying to stay on top of things. To make matters worse, I haven’t had the best of luck lately… though I’ve never been one who puts much stock in luck and the such. I’ve always believed we create our own good fortune. But this week, for some reason, my horoscope on MSN caught my attention and I read it. Oddly, it was right on. So I’ve read it every day this week and each day, it was right on! It predicted my sale of a novella to EC (yea!), an almost-contract on my house and that it would fall though, and oddly, even my feelings throughout the week. It kinda has me thinking that my luck is changing now…and maybe horoscopes are for real:) So what do you think? Are horoscopes for real? Check out yours for today and tell me how accurate or inaccurate it is!

Well, mine predicted I should clean my house, bc I’d have unexpected visitors today! Better go do it! Hugs, Alyssa

Well, here’s mine for today–”Taurus–Though you want to be there for your friend, you must first stay true to your own plan. When you’re on track with what you want to do, everyone else falls into your schedule quite nicely.”
I do have a friend who’s got a lot of problems right now. And I’ve been trying to help her and support–long distance. I’m not sure about the next part, though. i’m trying to stay on track with my writing, but a lot of stuff keeps interfering! And I set myself up for more interference by volunteering to go to a two-hour “party” on Sunday where we’ll call voters and urge them to go to the polls.
I get off track a lot with stuff I need to do–instead of work. I got my best block of work done recently when we hid out in Half Moon Bay, California, for a week a couple of weeks ago.

I have yet to find one that is even close. Most of them make me laugh.

You must be a scorpio Alyssa because I am and I was supposed to expect company too today!
What a shock
that would have been as I havent’t cleaned house in quite a while and my house is not company worthy…
I looked at tomorrow’s prediction and it pins me down as highly emotional (which I am) and building things out of proportion in my head (and I do). So in my opinion, horoscopes are hit and miss

Oddly, Jaclyne, I’m not a scorpio…I’m a cancer. I suppose today disapproved my goriwng theories that horoscopes are right on. No company!
But it did say busniess would rule my day and it did!

I love reading them for fun. I had one this week that said I was waiting to hear back about important things, and that was so true, but the next day it was about meeting a new love, not true. I still enjoy it.
