Through sheer chance, I was allocated today to post on this blog. That is really cool because today is the official release day of Visions of Heat, the second book in my Psy/Changeling series!
I’m very excited about this release, as I tend to get with all my releases. It’s a rush to know my book is hitting store shelves, a bubbly-happy feeling that I hope will keep getting stronger with time.
So, since I’m in such a delighted mood, how about we talk we talk about things that make us happy. What’s your rush, the thing or experience that you can never get enough of?

Many congrats on the new release! Can’t wait to read it. Hmm, what makes me happy. It would have to be making someone laugh, even a smile. It hits me in the most fabulous way, especially if I’m not trying

Um, would I seem like too much of a loser geek if I said release days make me really happy? Or, even better, if I can find a book early? I love to read and I hate to wait, so release days ROCK!

Saskia - I love what you described. Isn’t it brilliant to just get a happy-shot unexpectedly?
Jennifer, I’m a bit like that with my top fave writers. Like the new JD Robb. I am CRAVING it.

Books make me happy, honestly when I go to a book shop or that parcel from Amazon drops through the letter box I get a lovely warm glow. Especially if it’s a title I’ve been waiting a long time for.
Also chocolate.
And my nieces, especially my 2 year old niece, who is at the age where she’s unintentionally funny.

Congrats on the release, Nalini! Make sure you celebrate!
Things that make me happy - lots. At the moment, it’s watching actor Jason Statham’s awesomely muscled body get sweaty as he opens a can of martial arts whoop ass on a bunch of bad guys in the movie Transporter (I’m watching cable TV as I write this!).

Yeah, awesomely muscled male bodies getting sweaty as they open up a can of whup-ass on the bad guys makes me happy, too. Very happy. In fact, I’m going to that happy place in my head now. Ya’ll remember that scene from the Rambo where Sylvester Stallone is in Afghanistan and he’s on that horse and leaning over to grab the goat, or whatever? Good lord, the man was ripped in that movie. Happy, happy place.
